Connecting an i.LINK Device

You can connect an i.LINK enabled digital video camera recorder to the

i.LINK®
S400 (IEEE1394) port.
You can purchase compatible i.LINK cables from your local retailer, from the Sony
VAIO® sonystyle Web site (http://vaio.sonystyle.com), or by calling 1-888-315-7669
(toll free).

To connect a digital video camera recorder

Plug one end of the i.LINK cable (optional) into the i.LINK port on the left
side of the notebook and the other end into the DV In/Out port on the digital
video camera recorder.
