Calculation of actual cooling capacity and power consumption:
Example: CS-F50MD1E5 / CU-L50DBE5
Calculation of the actual cooling capacity and power consumption for the following cooling conditions;
Indoor temperature of 27/19“C and outdoor temperature of 35“C (Standard condition).
Calculation method
1.
Find the cooling capacity ratio and the power consumption ratio from the cooling capacity graph and power consumption graph for model
CS-F50MD1E5 / CU-L50DBE5.
The cooling capacity ratio indicate at the intersection between an outdoor unit air inlet temperature of 40“C on the horizontal axis and an
indoor unit air inlet temperature on 27/19“C is 0.95.
The cooling power consumption ratio from the same intersection on the power consumption graph is 1.03.
2.
Thus,
Actual cooling capacity = cooling capacity ratio x Max cooling capacity = 0.95 x 16 = 15.2 (kw).
Actual cooling power consumption = cooling power consumption x rated power consumption = 1.03 x 5.5 = 5.66 (kw).
