To replace the battery
1.
Hold down the [POWER] button for about
two seconds to turn off power, and then
remove the battery cover (page 12).
2.
Remove the current battery and load a new
one.
As shown in the illustration, pull up the edge of
the battery to remove it.
3.
Close the battery cover (page 12).
IMPORTANT!
• The [STATUS] lamp will flash green for some time after you press the [POWER]
button to turn off the camera. Never remove the battery while the [STATUS] lamp is
flashing green. Doing so can result in corruption or loss of data in camera memory.
