Preparing the AirStation Setting

Set the wireless LAN PC first before the AirStation.
This section provides procedure for Windows 2000/NT4.0. For Windows Me/98/95, refer
to Chapter 2 and onwards.
Work Flow
This section explains the procedure for connecting to the Internet from a PC using a CATV network.

Installation of the AirStation.
Install the Wireless LAN Card in the setting PC. (Refer to Page 31 for the

installation procedure.)

Set a tentative IP address in the settings PC.

Install the AirStation Manager.

Set the AirStation's IP address.

Display the setting screen.

Set the AirStation.
Install the Wireless LAN Card Driver in all wireless LAN PCs. (Refer to

Page 43 for the installation procedure.)

Set the TCP/IP protocol in the setting PC.

Install the Client Manager.

Create the AirStation Information flies using the setting PC.

Connect all wireless LAN PCs to the AirStation.
13
Connect to the Internet.
