Using the macro function

This function can capture subjects close to the lens. In macro mode,

While in Photo or Movie and voice recorder modes, move the
Macro switch up to activate macro function, and an icon
displays on the LCD screen.
Move the macro button down to return to the normal mode.

Using the zoom function

The camera is equipped with 4x digital zoom.
Slide the zoom switch up to get closer to a subject.
Slide the zoom switch down to move away from a subject.

Using the LED flashlight

Use the LED flashlight to illuminate subjects in dark environments.
In Movie and Photo modes, press right on the Navigation pad to
turn the LED flashlight on. An icon displays on the screen when
activated.
