Troubleshoot Compressor Control Module

Test A: Battery Protection Cut-Out

Before starting this procedure make sure the DC supply voltage to
the refrigerator is correct.
■ At 12 VDC nominal input, the refrigerator DC supply voltage must
be:
More than 12.2 VDC to start.
Remain between 10.9 VDC to 17 VDC to continue opera-
tion.
■ At 24 VDC nominal input, the refrigerator DC supply voltage
must be:
More than 25.2 VDC to start.
Remain between 23.8 VDC and 31.5 VDC to continue
operation.
Series DE/EV0041, Series DE/EV0061, DC0061

TROUBLESHOOTING

Complete the "Diagnostic Pre-Checks."
Make sure that the DC supply voltage
is correct.
Remove refrigerator from enclosure,
but do not disconnect the DC supply.
Inspect the fuse on the positve DC
supply that is connected to control
module terminal "+".
NO
Is the fuse
intact?
YES
With thermostat in OFF position,
measure voltage at the DC connector.
12 VDC
12.2 - 17.0?
24 VDC
25.2 - 31.5?
YES
Continued on next page.
Replace the fuse. Test the refrigerator.
NO
Repair DC supply voltage.
Test the refrigerator.
