Firmware Upgrade Via TFTP Upgrade
Note: TFTP server software is required for this procedures.
1.
Enter the IP address for your switch in a browser. For example, if your switch uses
the default IP address, enter http://192.168.1.254 in your browser in order to access
the switch.
2.
On the login screen, enter admin in the User Name and Password fields.
3.
Once logged in, go to Admin > Firmware Upgrade.
4.
Click via TFTP, and then click the Upgrade radio button
5.
Choose Software Image from the File Type drop−down list.
6.
In the TFTP server field, enter the IP address of the computer that runs the TFTP
software.
7.
In the Destination File field, enter the file name for the firmware file.
8.
Click Proceed.
Note: Do not reset or unplug the power while the firmware upgrade is in progress.
