Keys, doors and windows
After use, reinsert the emergency
manual key in the housing of the
electronic key.

Door locks

Anti-theft security lock
To prevent the doors from being
opened from the outside, open the
driver's door and engage the anti-
theft security lock.
Using a suitable tool, turn the lock
switch on the door to the locked
position. The doors/tailgate cannot be
opened from outside.
The anti-theft security lock remains
engaged even after unlocking the
vehicle with the remote control. The
doors / tailgate can only be opened
from inside or by using the manual
key.
Notice
Depending on version, the tailgate
may remain unlocked when the anti-
theft security lock is engaged.
To disengage, turn the switch to the
unlocked position.
Rear door manual lock
Turn the lock switch clockwise to lock
the left-hand rear door from inside the
load compartment. To disengage
lock, turn the switch anticlockwise.

Central locking system

Unlocks and locks the front doors,
sliding side doors and load
compartment.
With the 3-button remote control, the
front doors and load compartment/
sliding side doors (where fitted) can
be unlocked and locked separately.
For safety reasons, the vehicle
cannot be locked if the key is in the
ignition switch.
Notice
If no door is opened within approx.
two minutes after the vehicle has
been unlocked, the vehicle is re-
locked automatically.
Close doors and load compartment. If
the doors are not closed properly, the
central locking system will not work.
