Determine a hard surface ceiling location, and use the included alignment sticker for marking three mounting holes as where the holes will be drilled to secure the pendant head.

  • Page 4 VIVOTEK 9. Route a CAT5e Ethernet cable through the pendant pipe, and install the cable gland components to the Ethernet cable. Sliding edge towards the clamp head. 10. Remove the side cover from the side with a name tag, and remove slide bracket from the chassis.
  • Page 5 VIVOTEK 12. Attach 4 thermal pads to the 4 corners on the back of the SC8131 camera. 13. Place the slide bracket on top of the camera. The opening should provide access to the indented area on the back of the camera. Make sure another long piece of thermal pad is properly installed on the slide bracket.
  • Page 6 VIVOTEK 15. You can install the waterproof cable gland to chassis. Leave some of the Ethernet cable at the outside of the chassis for making the connection. Do not completely tighten the cable gland yet. 16. Before you install the camera into chassis, remove the protective sheet from the camera.
  • Page 7 VIVOTEK 18. Secure the slide bracket by driving an M3 screw. 19. Tighten up the cable gland, adjust the cable length, and install the side cover. 20. Secure the chassis to bracket by driving 4 M3 screws. Installation Guide...
