Wet Pick-Up (Wet & Dry version ONLY)
Fit the Squeegee tool in to assist in collecting liquids. When
collecting liquids do not fill beyond the maximum fill line.
IMPORTANT: Always keep the cleaner vertical (with the nozzle-
end down) during and after collection of liquids, to prevent
spillage or liquid entering the motor. Always empty the liquid out
of the container immediately after use. Do not pick up solvent
based solutions, inflammable or combustible liquids. After
picking up liquids the container, deflector and filter MUST be
thoroughly dried and the squeegee removed before picking up
dry dirt.
Dust container & filter removal or replacement [linked to
pictures 7, 8, 9, & 10]
IMPORTANT: for best results clean the filter after each use.
While holding the cleaner in vertical position, press both dust cup
release buttons either side of the handle. The dust cup will be
released from the main body of the product [picture 7].
Hold the dust cup over a waste bin and use the filter handle to
remove the filter/deflector from the dust cup [picture 8].
Empty the dust container and brush the dust and dirt off the
filters [picture 9].
The container, deflector (Wet & Dry only) may be washed in
warm soapy water.
The HEPA filter should be washed in hand warm water DO NOT
USE DETERGENTS. Make sure all are completely dry before
replacing in your cleaner.
Replace the filter into the dust container [picture 10] and
re-assemble the dust container to the cleaner.

This appliance is marked according to the European directive
2002/96/EC on the Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you
will help prevent potential negative consequences for the
environment and human health, which could otherwise be
caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product. The
symbol on the product indicates that this product may not be
treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to
the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and
electronic equipment. Disposal must be carried out in
accordance with local environmental regulations for waste
disposal. For more detailed information about treatment,
recovery and recycling of this product, please contact your local
city office, your household waste disposal service or the shop
where you purchased the product.
Guarantee Statement
During year 1 HOOVER engineers will replace or repair all
defective parts free of charge, except for parts subject to fair
wear and tear such as belts, brushes and bags. To qualify for
benefits under guarantee, you must be able to provide proof of
purchase and the appliance must have been supplied,
maintained
and
used
in
accordance
with
HOOVER
instructions.
Exclusions
Consequential losses and accidental damage to the product.
Any faults which occur due to incorrect installation or misuse.
Repair or interference with the appliance by any person not
authorised by Hoover.
Any parts which are fitted to the appliance which are not
original manufacturer's parts.
Non-domestic use of the appliance.
Operation at incorrect voltage

telephone your nearest HOOVER service Office. The guarantee
does not affect your statutory or common law rights. Hoover Ltd
cannot be responsible for the results of using this machine for
any purpose other than those described in these instructions.
