  • Page 4 FA R A DIC FACI AL T ON IN G Practised for over 40 years in beauty salons, faradic facial toning uses EMS (Electrical-Muscle Stimulation) to activate the nerves which control the facial muscles. The pulses gently contract and relax the facial muscles to help tone, lift and tighten. The pulses generated mimic natural nerve signals to exercise the facial muscles. The targeted muscles are shown below. FRONTALIS Raises eyebrows. ORBICULARIS OCULI Closes the eyelids. NASALIS Moves the nostrils.     G E TT I N G S T A R T E D IMPORTANT - PATCH TEST Before first use do a patch test with a gel pad to test for possible skin reaction. Place a gel pad on an inconspicuous area e.g. inside your forearm and leave in place for 20 minutes. Wait 24 hours. If irritation occurs DO NOT continue treatment.
