Glossary

A function that automatically cancels errors 10 seconds after they occur to allow
printing to continue. Only certain errors can be automatically skipped.
Automatically refines your printed text and illustrations by smoothing the jagged
edges on curves and diagonal lines.
If you install the optional Adobe PostScript 3 module, your printer can switch
automatically between PCL or PostScript depending on the data it receives.
The process of creating a whole page of data in strips. The banding method uses less
memory because the data is in a compressed format before strip composition.
An acronym for binary digit written as either a 0 or 1.
A graphic image made up of a matrix of dots called pixels (picture elements). The
printer can print bitmapped fonts and graphics.
