Solution
Check that the Windows 98, Windows 95, or Windows
NT Explorer or the Windows 3.1 File Manager can
successfully read the CD.
If the CD is unreadable, call the Canon Customer Care
Center (see page 1-5).
Solution
Use recommended paper
Paper within the range of 17 to 24 lb (64 to 105 g/m
can be loaded in the sheet feeder. Thicker paper cannot
be used.
Check sheet feeder capacity
Check that you do not exceed the sheet feeder capacity.
Paper will not feed correctly if you exceed the specified
number of sheets. (See page 3-7.)
Attach the paper support
Always attach the paper support. If the paper support is
not attached, the media will not slide fully into the paper
feed slot and will not feed into the printer correctly.
Check that you are using appropriate media
Paper that is folded, curled, or crumpled will not feed
into the printer correctly, and may also cause paper jams.
