Use personal protective equipment.
Use safety glasses.
Use a face or dust mask if working operations
create dust.
Wear ear protectors. Exposure to noise can cause
hearing loss.
Wear protective footwear. Objects, including parts
of the workpiece may fall from the stand.
Make sure any power cord is located so that it will
not be stepped on, tripped over, come in contact with
sharp edges or moving parts or otherwise subjected to
damage or stress. This will reduce the risk of accidental
falls, which could cause injury, and damage to the cord,
which could result in electric shock.
Check for damaged parts. Before further use of the
product, it should be carefully checked to determine
that it will operate properly and perform its intended
function.
When not in use, the product should be stored in a
dry locked-up place, out of the reach of children and
persons unfamiliar with it.
When moving the stand or saw and bracket assembly,
keep balanced to avoid injury.

RESIDUAL RISKS

Even when the product is used as prescribed, it is still
impossible to completely eliminate certain residual risk
factors. The following hazards may arise and the operator
should pay special attention to avoid the following:
Over balancing. When a large piece is cut from one
end of a job, the remaining piece may be heavy enough
to tip the stand. Always ensure the workpiece is well
supported.
Risk of a collapse of the product. Check to make sure
that all fixing screws and knobs are tight and all parts
are locked into place before operating the stand.
Unclamped workpieces can cause severe injury and
damage. Secure the workpiece in the vise or clamp to
the stand to prevent it from moving whilst you work on it.
