Switching between Focusing Modes

Shooting Mode
The autofocus frame (AF frame) indicates the area used to set the
focus. The following AF frame options are used according to the
AiAF setting selected.
(No frame)
On

(Rec.) Menu
* Default setting.
The AF frame appears as follows (when the LCD monitor is
on) when the shutter button is pressed halfway.
• Green
• Yellow
• No Display : Focusing difficulty (AiAF set to [On)
The camera detects the subject and highlights
the AF frames, from 5 available points, that it will
use to determine the focus.
The camera focuses using the center AF frame.
This is convenient for ensuring that your intended
subject is in focus and for composing images.
