Stand the EH1419 on a firm, flat, level surface, and apply the brakes to the rear castors. For industrial spot cooling, no hot air ducting is required.For zone cooling use 18" (457 mm) ducting. Never use reducers, as they cause the exhaust air to be compressed, generating heat, reducing efficiency, and reducing the output of cooled air.

OPERATION Leave the appliance in an upright position for 3 hours before first use. Plug the mains lead into a 13 Amp mains socket. If connecting via an extension lead, make sure that the lead is rated at 13 Amps or more, and that it is fully unwound. Switch the unit on at the mains socket.
Press the ON/OFF button again to resume operation. Unplug the EH1419 from the mains when not in use. A compartment is provided for storage of the mains cable adjacent to the cable entry point.

MAINTENANCE Before cleaning, turn the appliance off, and disconnect from the mains supply. The appliance may then be cleaned using a damp cloth with a drop of washing-up liquid to remove any dust or dirt from the case. Do no use stronger detergents or solvents as these may damage the paint finish.
FAULT-FINDING If the EH1419 is not operating, proceed as follows: Check that the mains plug is firmly in the socket, and that the socket is switched ON. When the unit if switched on there will be a delay of about 1 minute before it starts to operate.
