For Linux
1. Under root folder, create a new folder and copy MSR120 USB driver source code to new
folder (Redhat73 for kernel 2.4.18-3; Redhat8 for kernel 2.4.18-14; Redhat9 for kernel
2.4.20-8).
2. Open terminal mode and login root user.
3. Go to the new folder and then type "make inst" to compile the MSR120 USB driver source
code. This will create a file: "msr120.o", and install the MSR120 Linux driver into Linux.
4. Plug the MSR120 cable into USB port and key-in "dmesg", it will show "PL-2303 converter
now attached to ttyUSB0 (or usb/tts/0 for devfs)". This means MSR120 is now working
under Linux.
Note1: User must login into root user in order to successfully compile and install.
Note2: User can test MSR120's communication on "minicom" program. Please use "man
minicom" for further information.
