Updating the operating system from a pc computer

Copy the six files contained in this folder – but not the folder itself – to your

formatted CompactFlash. Again, these files must be in what is called the Root

Directory. They cannot be in a folder, or the TRITON Extreme will not be able to find

the files. Once the files have been copied, left-click the

side of the task bar, and then left-click "Stop USB Mass Storage Device – Drive(X:)".

When the following display appears, click "OK" on your PC.

Updating the Operating System:

Begin with the TRITON Extreme Off. Never insert or remove CompactFlash media

while the TRITON Extreme is On.

Insert the CompactFlash media into the TRITON Extreme. While holding down the

[ENTER] and [LOCATE] keys, turn the power On.

The system data is automatically loaded into the TRITON Extreme, and the

following messages will appear in the display:

Now loading...

Now erasing ROM

Checking system's check sum

Once completed, the system automatically restarts and the opening screen appears

in the LCD. Please check that "Version 1.0.5" appears in the display during start-up.

NOTE 1:

If any error message appears in the LCD, turn the power off,

and then re-start the procedure.
