This appliance is intended for household use only. This appliance is only used for
reheating and serving food. This appliance is not intended for use with any nonfood
materials or products.
w WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard: This appliance is provided with a polarized plug (one
wide blade) to reduce the risk of electric shock. The plug fits only one way into a polarized
outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the plug by modifying the plug in any way or by
using an adapter. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, have an electrician replace the outlet.
A short power-supply cord is used to reduce the risk resulting from it being grabbed by
children, becoming entangled in, or tripping over a longer cord.

Lid and Warming Pot: Precautions and Information
• Please handle Warming Pot and Lid carefully to ensure long life.
• Do not use abrasive cleansers or metal scouring pads.
• Warming Pot and Lid can become very hot. Use caution. Do not place directly on any
unprotected surface or countertop.
• Do not place any parts in a microwave oven, conventional oven, or on stovetop.
Removing Lid and Warming Pot
When removing Lid, tilt so that opening faces away from you to avoid being burned by
steam.
The sides of the Food Warmer's Base get very warm because the heating elements are
located here. Use Handle if necessary. Use oven mitts to remove Warming Pot.

How to Use Food Warmer
w WARNING Food Safety Hazard. The food warmer is not intended for cooking. Use
food warmer to warm recipes involving thoroughly cooked ingredients. Do not use with
REFERENCE INFORMATION (DO NOT PRINT) uncooked or undercooked food. The product is not insulated for food storage; refrigerate
food as necessary. Visit foodsafety.gov for more information.

Warming Pot capacity: For best results, do not fill above MAX line on Warming Pot.
1. Add food to Warming Pot.
2. Place Warming Pot into Base and top with Storage Lid. Add Food Warmer Lid and turn
clockwise to lock.
3. Plug in Food Warmer.
4. Press Control Switch right for high ( ) temperature to reheat. Food will be ready in 1 1/2
to 2 hours. Press left for low ( ) temperature to reheat foods from room temperature or
when a longer reheat time is desired, 3 to 4 hours. Low is recommended for reheating
most prepared foods. NOTE: If hot food has been added to Warming Pot, press Control
Switch left ( ) for keeping warm.
5. When warming is complete, press Control Switch left (

7. Turn Food Warmer Lid counterclockwise to unlock.
w CAUTION Burn Hazard. Removable warming pot will be hot. After eating, allow pot to
cool before removing.
Tips:
• To store in refrigerator for next day, add food to Warming Pot and cover with Storage Lid.
• Heating time may vary based on amount of food and consistency.
• For best heating results, use low ( ) for soups and foods with a lot of liquid.
• Use Cord Wrap on bottom of Base for easy transporting and storage. Wrap cord around
Cord Wrap and push plug into center square.
Care and Cleaning
w WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard. Disconnect power before cleaning. Do not immerse
cord, plug, or base in any liquid.
1. Unplug and cool.
2. Remove any food from Warming Pot.
3. Warming Pot, Food Warmer Lid, and Storage Lid are dishwasher-safe, or wash in hot,
soapy water. Rinse and dry. DO NOT use the "SANI" setting when washing in the
dishwasher. "SANI" cycle temperatures could damage your product.
4. Wipe Base with a soft, damp cloth or sponge, and dry. Do not use abrasive cleansers.
5. To remove stains, use stainless steel cleaner, vinegar, or sprinkle cream of tartar into
Warming Pot and add enough water to make a paste. Scrub with a nonabrasive sponge.
Rinse and dry.
Limited Warranty
This warranty applies to products purchased and used in the U.S. and Canada. This is the
only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other warranty or condition.
This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period
of three (3) years from the date of original purchase. During this period, your exclusive
remedy is replacement of this product or any component found to be defective, at our
option; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with our returning a product
or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is unavailable, we
will replace with a similar one of equal or greater value.
This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity
with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration,
abuse, or misuse. This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser or
gift recipient. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase is required to make

Soulèvement du couvercle et du pot
Soulever le couvercle de façon à diriger les vapeurs loin de votre visage pour éviter de vous
brûler.
Les côtés de la base du chauffe-plat deviennent très chauds car c'est là que se trouvent
les éléments chauffants. Au besoin, utiliser les poignées sur la base. Utiliser des gants
de cuisine pour retirer le récipient pour réchauffer.

Utilisation du chauffe-plat
w AVERTISSEMENT
Danger pour la salubrité des aliments. Le chauffe-plat n'est pas
conçu pour la cuisson. Utiliser le chauffe-plat pour réchauffer des recettes composées
d'aliments bien cuits. Ne pas utiliser avec des aliments non cuits ou insuffisamment cuits.
Le produit n'est pas isolé pour permettre la conservation d'aliments. Réfrigérer les aliments

w ATTENTION
Risque de brûlures. La vapeur qui s'échappe est chaude. Utiliser des
