Turbine Repair Turbine Repair Standard Models Disconnect the motor leads from the control board (20). Remove the 3 turbine mounting bolts (13) and spacers (9 & 11). Remove the turbine assembly (12). NOTICE 10. Remove plate (10) and gasket (8). Use blue thread locker provided in turbine 11. - Page 5 Turbine Repair ProContractor & ProComp Loosen two mounting nuts (83) on the inner panel (15). Models Remove the three turbine mounting bolts (13) and spacers (9 & 11) (Some models only have a single spacer). 10. Remove the turbine assembly (12). Remove the mounting plate (10) and NOTICE gasket (8).
- Page 6 Control Board Repair Control Board Repair Standard Models Installation: Install new control board (20) using four screws (21). Torque to 15-20 in-lbs (1.7 - 2.3 N•m). Connect control board leads to the Refer to the Parts List - Standard Models, power switch (36) and power cord page 13.

- Page 8 Potentiometer Repair Potentiometer Repair Standard Models Rotate the shaft of the potentiometer (45) clockwise as far as it can go. Slide the knob (37) over the shaft and align the pointer to the maximum setting on the control label (35). While applying a light pressure to the knob (37), tighten the two set screws to 3-5 in-lb (0.3 - 0.6 N•m).
- Page 9 Potentiometer Repair ProContractor & ProComp Remove eleven screws (16) and the top cover (31). Models NOTE: Be cautious not to damage the wires that connect to the cover.. Remove mounting nut and washer of potentiometer (45) from the top cover (31).
- Page 10 Potentiometer Repair Installation: Fig. 3 Route the wire from the new potentiometer (47) through the foam gasket (90). Connect potentiometer (47) to the control board (20). Refer to Wiring Diagrams (ProContractor), page 19 and Wiring Diagrams (ProComp), page 20. For ProComp models, wrap the foam gasket (91) around the wire bundle to protect against damage from the compressor power switch (77).
