Changing the mode settings
AUDIO MIX*
Select this item and adjust the balance between
the stereo 1 and stereo 2 by turning the
CONTROL dial.
CM SEARCH <ON/OFF>
•Select ON to search using cassette memory.
•Select OFF to search without using cassette
memory.
DATA CODE <DATE/CAM or DATE>
•Select DATE/CAM to display date and
recording data during playback.
•Select DATE to display date during playback.
AUTO TV ON <OFF/ON>
You can use this feature only with Sony TVs.
•Select ON to turn on the TV automatically
when using the LASER LINK function.
•Select OFF not to turn on the TV.
TV INPUT <VIDEO1/VIDEO2/VIDEO3/OFF>
Select 1 or 2 or 3 of the video input on the TV
which the IR receiver (not supplied) is connected
to when using the LASER LINK function.
* These settings are retained even when the
battery is removed, as long as the vanadium-
lithium battery is charged. As far as the items
without an asterisk are concerned, their settings
return to the default 5 minutes or more after the
battery is removed.
When recording a close subject
When REC LAMP is set to ON, the red camera
recording lamp on the front of the camcorder
may reflect on the subject if it is close. In this
case, we recommend you set REC LAMP to OFF.
Note
•When playing back a tape recorded in the 16-bit
mode, you cannot adjust the balance in AUDIO
MIX.
•If you select BRIGHT in LCD B.L. menu, the
battery life while recording becomes 10 to 20%
shorter. When you use the power sources
except for a battery pack, the menu item LCD
B.L. is set to BRIGHT automatically and the
item does not appear in the screen.

Seleccione este elemento y ajuste el equilibrio

•Seleccione ON para realizar búsquedas
utilizando la memoria en cassette.
•Seleccione OFF para realizar búsquedas sin
utilizar la memoria en cassette.

•Seleccione DATE/CAM para mostrar la fecha y
los datos de grabación durante la reproducción.
•Seleccione DATE para mostrar la fecha durante
la reproducción.
AUTO TV ON <OFF/ON>
Esta función sólo puede utilizarse con televisores
Sony.
•Seleccione ON para encender el TV
automáticamente al emplear la función LASER
LINK.
•Seleccione OFF si no desea encender el TV.
TV INPUT <VIDEO1/VIDEO2/VIDEO3/OFF>
Seleccione 1, 2 o 3 de la entrada de vídeo del TV,
a la que esté conectado el receptor IR (no
suministrado) al emplear la función LASER
LINK.
* Estos ajustes se conservan aunque extraiga el
paquete de pilas, siempre que la pila de
vanadio-litio esté cargada. En cuanto a los
elementos sin asterisco, sus ajustes recuperan el
valor por omisión 5 minutos o más después de
extraer el paquete de pilas.
Al grabar un sujeto cercano
Si REC LAMP está ajustado en ON, es posible
que el indicador rojo de grabación con la cámara
de la parte frontal de la videocámara se refleje en
el sujeto si está cerca. En este caso, se recomienda
ajustar REC LAMP en OFF.
Notas
•Al reproducir una cinta grabada en el modo de
16 bits, no será posible ajustar el equilibrio en
AUDIO MIX.
•Si selecciona BRIGHT en el menú LCD B.L., la
duración de las pilas durante la grabación se
reducirá de un 10 a un 20%. Al emplear
cualquier fuente de alimentación, excepto el
paquete de pilas, el elemento de menú LCD
B.L. se ajusta en BRIGHT automáticamente y el
elemento no aparece en la pantalla.
