Timer Function

The timer function allows you to either run the unit for a set amount of time before turning off or set a 
delayed start time.
When the unit is turned off, you can set the timer to start ice production after a delay.
1). Press the TIMER button on the control panel. The timer indicator will flash on the LCD display.
2). Press the SELECT button to change the time delay to your desired value between 0.5 and 18
hours by 0.5 hour increments.
3). After you have selected the time delay, do not press any buttons for three (3) seconds. The timer
display will then show the time remaining until the unit will start ice production according to your
settings. Ice production will begin when the timer reaches zero.
When the unit is turned on, you can set the timer to stop ice production after a set duration.
1). Press the TIMER button on the control panel. The timer indicator will flash on the LCD display.
2). Press the SELECT button to change the time delay to your desired value between 0.5 and 18
hours by 0.5 hour increments.
3). After you have selected the time delay, do not press any buttons for three (3) seconds. The timer
display will then show the time remaining time until the unit will stop ice production according to your
settings. Ice production will cease when the timer reaches zero.
To Cancel the timer setting, press the TIMER button twice.

Self-Clean Function

The unit is equipped with a self-clean function that should be utilized regularly. When using the unit
for the first time or after prolonged storage, it is recommended that you run the self-clean funciton.
1. Take out the ice basket.
2. Add a 10:1 mixture of water and vinegar.
3. Plug in the unit, but do not powere it on. Hold the CLEAN button for six (6) seconds. The self-
cleaning process will last about 5-6 minutes. When it is complete, the unit will automatically power off. 
During this process, the ADD WATER and CLEAN symbols will illuminate in the LCD display window.
4. After the self-clean program is complete, drain the water/vinegar mixture by unplugging the drain
cap on the unit's left side. Then close the drain cap.
5. Unplug the unit and add fresh water to reservoir up to the "Max" water level mark.
6. Plug the unit back in, and hold the CLEAN button for six (6) seconds again.
7. After the self-clean program is complete (approximately 5-6 minutes), drain the water by
unplugging the drain cap on the left side.
8. Dry the interior and exterior with a soft and clean cloth.
9. Tighten the drain cap.
