2-5-3. Component W/B HIGH Adjustment

1. Input a component flat field signal to INPUT-A, select
INPUT-A, and then select COMPONENT by the set
INPUT-A.
2. Set to 06 3D GAMMA/THROUGH:0. (LUT ON)
3. Set to 07 3D GAMMA/SW:1. (3Dγ ON)
4. Enter W/B ADJUST HIGH from the menu.
5. Copy the adjustment value in the RGB HIGH mode to
the gain and bias.
6. Input a component flat field 80 IRE signal to INPUT-
A.
7. Adjust the y value by the G gain of W/B HIGH. If the
x value obtained when the y value is adjusted is higher
than the specified value, blue is used as the reference
color. If it is lower than the specified value, red is
used as the reference color. Adjust so that the
chromaticity below is obtained by the gain of colors
other than the reference color.
8. Input a component flat field 30 IRE signal to INPUT-
A.
9. Adjust so that the chromaticity below is obtained by
the bias of colors other than the reference color.
10. Perform the tracking adjustment so that 80 IRE and 30
IRE satisfy the specified value.
11. Select SAVE TO MEMORY on the W/B ADJUST
page of the menu and press the "ENTER" key to save
data.

2-5-4. Component W/B LOW Adjustment

1. Input component flat field signal to INPUT-A.
2. Enter W/B ADJUST LOW from the menu.
3. Copy the adjustment value in the RGB HIGH mode to
the gain and bias.
4. Input a component flat field 80 IRE signal to INPUT-
A.
5. Adjust the y value by the G gain. If the x value
obtained when the y value is adjusted is higher than
the specified value, blue is used as the reference color.
If it is lower than the specified value, red is used as the
reference color. Adjust so that the chromaticity below
is obtained by the gain of colors other than the
reference color.
x value = 0.275 ± 0.005
y value = 0.312 ± 0.005 (30IRE: ± 0.007)
6. Input a component flat field 30IRE signal to INPUT-
A.
7. Adjust so that the chromaticity below is obtained by
the bias of colors other than the reference color.
8. Perform the tracking adjustment so that 80 IRE and 30
IRE satisfy the specified value.
x value = 0.283 ± 0.005
y value = 0.331 ± 0.005 (30IRE: ± 0.007)
9. Select SAVE TO MEMORY on the W/B ADJUST
page of the menu and press the "ENTER" key to save
data.
