2-5. W/B Adjustment

2-5-1. RGB W/B HIGH Adjustment

1. Input a W/B HIGH adjustment (XGA) signal to
INPUT-A and select "COMPUTER" by signal setting.
2. Set CONTRAST to 80.
3. Enter OTHER of Device adjust in the menu.
4. Set 06 3D GAMMA/THROUGH:0 to 06 3D
GAMMA/THROUGH:1.
5. Set 07 3D GAMMA/SW:1 to 07 3D GAMMA/SW:0.
6. Enter GAMMA of Device adjust in the menu.
7. Connect an oscilloscope to TP610 on the C board.
8. Display LEVELS 0 and 7, and memorize them in the
cursor on an oscilloscope.
9. Display LEVEL 0 and memorize it in the cursor on an
oscilloscope.
10. Input a W/B HIGH adjustment (XGA) signal to
INPUT-A.
11. Enter WB ADJUST HIGH from the menu.
12. Adjust gain G so that the DC level in the 100 IRE
portion of a W/B HIGH adjustment (XGA) signal
coincides with the memorized LEVEL 7.
13. Adjust bias G so that the DC level in the 12.5 IRE
portion of a W/B HIGH adjustment signal coincides
with the memorized LEVEL 0.
14. Perform the tracking adjustment.
15. Connect an oscilloscope to TP617 on the C board.
16. Adjust gain R and bias R in the same procedure of
steps 8 to 14.
17. Connect an oscilloscope to TP616 on the C board.
18. Adjust gain B and bias B in the same procedure of
steps 8 to 14.
19. Select SAVE TO MEMORY on the W/B ADJUST
page of the menu and press the "ENTER" key to save
data.

2-5-2. RGB W/B LOW Adjustment

1. Enter W/B ADJUST LOW from the menu.
2. Copy the adjustment value in the HIGH mode directly
to the R/G/B bias.
3. Write the adjustment values, processed in the HIGH
mode as described below, in the R/G/B gain.
R GAIN +5
G GAIN _5
B GAIN _15
4. Select SAVE TO MEMORY on the W/B ADJUST
page of the menu and press the "ENTER" key to save
data.
5. Enter OTHER of Device adjust in the menu.
6. Return 06 3D GAMMA/THROUGH:1 to 06 3D
GAMMA/THROUGH:0.
7. Return 07 3D GAMMA/SW:0 to 07 3D GAMMA/
SW:1.
8. Select SAVE TO MEMORY on the Device adjust
page of the menu and press the "ENTER" key to save
data.
