Because the machine uses less water than conventional dishwashers, you also use less detergent and rinse aid. Generally, only one tablespoon of detergent is needed for a normal wash load.

The drain pumps on ASKO dishwashers are designed to automatically reverse if anything should get caught in the propellers, thus ejecting the item back into the sump area or down the drain.
