13-2 Partial Block Description

13-2-1 Video Block Description
■ TUNER : Receives a signal externally and outputs the RF and SIF signals.
■ VSP9405B : Performs RF-CVBS, AV1/2/3, S-VHS(Y, C) Switching and Monitor OUT
■ CXA2151Q : Component1/2 Switching
■ BA7657F : Switches the RF(480i) signal from VSP9405B and the 480p/1080i signal from CXA2151Q and outputs the received
signal to CXA2180Q.
■ CXA2165Q : Outputs the R/G/B video signal and performs Deflection Control.
◎ External input consists of AV1, 2, 3 (2, 3 shares the port with Component), S-VHS 1 and Component1, 2.
SIDE AV1 input and BACK AV1 input are handled as AV1 through the switching function. If both inputs are connected, SIDE AV1
input is selected due to the circuit design. In addition, if the SIDE AV1 connector is separated, the AV1 function will not work.

CVBS input such as AV (1, 2, 3), S-VHS (Y/C) and RF inputs are converted into a Y/Pb/Pr signal through VSP9405B and supplied
to BA7657F. The Component 1,2 (Y/Pb/Pr : 480p/1080i) signal is input to CXA2151Q, converted into a Y/Pb/Pr signal and output
to BA7657F.
The input video signal (RF/480i/480p/1080i) is selected by BA7657F and sent to CXA2180Q. The final signal (R/G/B) is sent to
TDA6109, amplified and then finally displayed on the screen.

■ MSP3420G : Manages SIF Input and Sound Processing
(Manages Audio Multiplex Broadcasting/Sound System Control/EQ, etc.)
■ TDA7297S : 10W + 10W Output.
◎ External audio is directly connected to MSP3420G without an additional switching IC (TDA6422).
The input signal is processed to support functions such as Audio Multiplex Broadcasting, EQ, Sound Control, etc.
Normal output signal is supplied to the Sound AMP (TDA7297S) at standard output level and the Sound AMP (TDA7297S) outputs
the audio signal to the standard output or speakers of the unit.
