2.4 Installation of Memory Modules (DIMM)

This motherboard provides four 288-pin DDR4 (Double Data Rate 4) DIMM slots in two
groups, and supports Quad Channel Memory Technology.
Quad Channel Memory Configuration (without NVDIMM)

*Since installing three memory modules is NOT supported on this motherboard, we suggest not using
this configuration.
It is not allowed to install a DDR, DDR2 or DDR3 memory module into a DDR4 slot; other-
wise, this motherboard and DIMM may be damaged.
NVDIMM Configuration
The table below shows the population guidelines for NVDIMMs.
Please note that NVDIMMs only work with at least a RDIMM or a LRDIMM installed on
the DDR4_D1 slot.
