USING EXTERNAL DEVICES

Camcorder

Connecting the camcorder
Connect the yellow socket

the corresponding socket on the camcorder (VHS, Video 8) with
AV 1
a cinch cable (picture signal)
AV 2
ANT IN
or

AUDIO OUT AV 3 S-VHS DC 12V PC
Connect the »S-VHS« socket (picture signal) on the television
and the corresponding socket on the camcorder (S-VHS, Hi 8)
with a cinch cable.
2 Connect the white and red sockets
and the corresponding sockets on the camcorder with a cinch
cable (audio signal).
Note:
If a mono camera is connected, connect the white socket
»AV3
camera. Select »MONO« in the »SOUND« menu for mono
operation.
Operating with a camcorder (VHS, Video 8)
1 Switch on the camcorder, insert a cassette and start playback.
Select the »AV3« (for VHS, Video 8) or »AVS« (for S-VHS,

Hi 8), by pressing »TV/AV« repeatedly until »AV3« or »AVS«
is displayed on the television.
– You will see the picture and hear the sound of the camcorder
on the television.

HiFi system

Connecting the HiFi system
Connect the white and red sockets

television and the corresponding sockets on the HiFi with a
cinch cable.
