The Platform (PF) Microprocessor performs all the actual control of the various Video, Audio ICs and Interface
with the PJED CPU. It controls the Video Switcher (IC1501), DRC (IC3201), MID (IC3301) and Main and Sub
Decoders (IC3101 & IC1507). It also controls the Audio Switcher (IC1502) and Audio Processor (IC0302).
The PF Microprocessor and PJED CPU interface is used to perform Flash Focus and Convergence (Registration)
adjustments.

ATI Microprocessor (Q-Box)
Due to the fact that the ATI Microprocessor is internal to the Q-Box and the Q-Box is replaced as a complete
assembly, no circuit block diagram is provided.
The ATI microprocessor is located in the Q-box. It controls all Q-Box internal functions (including ATSC tuner,
Memory Stick signal processing and i.Link® signal processing), and generates the User Digital Channel Menu
that is displayed when viewing a digital channel. The user interface to the ATI Microprocessor is through the
Main Microprocessor (IC0001).
