SAFETY SHUTDOWNS

SUN 12:00 AM SOLUTION PUMP OVERLOADS OPEN
(All Units Except 50 Hz Models YIA-10E3 – YIA-14F3
with Franklin pumps)
Unit has shut down because the solution pump (M1)
motor protector (1OL) or motor thermal switch (MTH1)
has opened. To restart the unit, press UNIT switch to
STOP/RESET position, reset the MOTOR PROTECTOR
(if tripped), then press the UNIT switch to the START
position. If the shutdown was caused by the THERMAL
SWITCH, the thermal switch does not have to be reset,
it automatically recloses. The motor protector is located
in the power panel. The thermal switch is located inside
the motor (M1).
SUN 12:00 AM ABSORBER PUMP OVERLOADS OPEN
(50 Hz Models YIA-10E3 – YIA-14F3 with Franklin pumps
Only)
Unit has shut down because the absorber pump (M1)
motor protector (1OL) or motor thermal switch (MTH1)
opened. To restart the unit, press UNIT switch to STOP/
RESET position, reset the MOTOR PROTECTOR (if
tripped), then press the UNIT switch to the START posi-
tion. If the shutdown was caused by the THERMAL
106
SWITCH, the thermal switch does not have to be reset,
it automatically recloses. The motor protector is located
in the power panel. The thermal switch is located inside
the motor (M1).
SUN 12:00 AM GEN PUMP OVERLOADS OPEN
(50 Hz Models YIA-10E3 – YIA-14F3 with Franklin pumps
Only)
Unit has shut down because the generator pump (M4)
motor protect (4OL) or motor thermal switch (MTH4) has
opened. To restart the unit, press UNIT switch to the
STOP/RESET position, reset the MOTOR PROTECTOR
(if tripped), then press the UNIT switch to the START
position. If the shutdown was caused by the THERMAL
SWITCH, the thermal switch does not have to be reset,
it automatically recloses. The motor protector is located
in the power panel. The thermal switch is located inside
the motor (M4).
SUN 12:00 AM REFRIG PUMP OVERLOADS OPEN
Unit has shut down because the refrigerant pump (M2)
motor protector (2OL) or motor thermal switch (MTH2)
opened. To restart the unit, press UNIT switch to STOP/
RESET position, reset the MOTOR PROTECTOR (if
tripped), then press the UNIT switch to the START posi-
tion. If the shutdown was caused by the THERMAL
SWITCH, the thermal switch does not have to be reset,
it automatically recloses. The motor protector is located
in the power panel. The thermal switch is located inside
the motor (M2).
SUN 12:00 AM GEN SHELL HIGH PRESS – DIG
(DIG = Digital Initiated Shutdown)
Unit has shut down because the generator high pres-
sure safety device (HP1) has opened. It is calibrated to
open at 13.73 PSIA (94.7 kPa). It will automatically
reclose at 0.77 PSIA (5.3 kPa). To restart unit, press
UNIT switch to STOP/RESET position, then to START
position.
SUN 12:00 AM GEN SHELL HIGH PRESS – ANA
(ANA = Analog Initiated Shutdown)
Unit has shut down because the generator pressure, as
sensed by pressure transducer PT1 has increased to
15.00 PSIA (103.4 kPa). It will be allowed to restart when
pressure decreases to < 15.00 PSIA (103.4 kPa). To re-
start unit, press UNIT switch to STOP/RESET position,
then to START position.
This analog check acts as a backup check to the digital
check performed by safety device HP1. HP1 is a cali-
