12. PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION

12.1
FOR MACHINES WITH ELECTRONIC CONTROL
If problems persist after having performed the above operations, contact your dealer.
PROBLEM
1.
After pressing the starter
button, the LED does not
come ON.
2.
After pressing the starter
button, the LED does
not come ON and the
machine sets off a sound
signal.
3.
The motor shuts down
whilst working.
4.
The danger LED lights up
(Fig. 30.A) and the ma-
chine emits an acoustic
signal.
5.
The danger LED lights up
(Fig.30.A).
6.
Mowing is difficult.
7.
Excessive noise and/or
vibration is experienced
whilst working.
8.
Battery power reserve
is low.
PROBABLE CAUSE
Safety key is not inserted or is inserted
incorrectly.
Safety key in "OFF" position.
Battery is not inserted or is inserted
incorrectly.
Low battery.
Incorrect battery combination.
Internal motor anomaly.
Battery is not inserted correctly.
Low battery.
Cutting means blocked.
Machine fault
The thermal protection has tripped due
to overheating of the machine.
The cutting means is not in good state.
Cutting means fittings are loose or the
cutting means is damaged.
Severe working conditions requiring
greater current absorption.
Battery is insufficient for operating re-
quirements.
Insert the key (par. 6.3).
Turn the safety key to "ON" position (par. 6.3).
Open the hatch and check that the battery is
fitted in its housing correctly (par. 7.2.3).
Check the battery status and recharge if nec-
essary (par. 7.2.2).
Check if the battery combination is correct,
following the instructions supplied in the "Tech-
nical data" table.
Remove the safety key and contact the Author-
ised Service Centre for checks, replacements
or repairs.
Open the hatch and check that the battery is
fitted in its housing correctly (par. 7.2.3).
Check the battery status and recharge if nec-
essary (par. 7.2.2).
Turn the machine off, remove the safety key
and wear work gloves.
Check and eventually remove any obstructions
in the machine lower side (par. 7.3.2) that pre-
vent rotation of the cutting means.
If the problem continues, contact the Author-
ised Service Centre for checks, replacements
or repairs (par. 8.1).
Remove the safety key and contact the Author-
ised Service Centre for checks, replacements
or repairs.
Wait for at least 5 minutes and restart the
machine.
Contact the Authorised Service Centre for
the sharpening or replacement of the cutting
means.
Immediately turn off the motor and remove the
safety key.
Contact the Authorised Service Centre for
checks, replacements or repairs (par. 8.1).
Optimise operations (par. 7.2.1).
Use a second battery or extended battery (par.
13.2).
