Maintenance

This air conditioner is designed to operate with approximately ½" of water
in the base pan. The condenser (outdoor) fan is made with a ring around
the edge of the blades. This slinger fan runs in the condensate collected in
the pan and expels it through the condenser, which causes a slight
increase in efficiency.
There is no need to add water if the pan is dry.
