• For this procedure, it is helpful to lay the computer on a flat, stable and wide surface.
• Make sure the surface is clean and dry.
CAUTION:
Before you open the computer covers, turn off the computer and wait several minutes until the
computer is cool.
To remove the computer display panel, do the following:
1. Turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then, disconnect all power cords from electrical
outlets and all cables that are connected to the computer.
2. Gently lay the computer down on its display panel. Let the base naturally be supported by the flat
surface.
