7 While still holding the release latch in the open position,

Assuming you just removed the battery pack (see
the battery from the computer" on page
1 Place the battery pack in the battery compartment.
2 Ensure the battery release latch clicks into place.
3 The battery release locks automatically click into the
locked position.
4 Turn the computer right side up.
5 Reconnect the cables and turn on the computer.
If the battery is leaking or its case is cracked, put on protective
gloves to handle it, and discard it immediately following the
advice in "Disposing of used batteries safely" on page
