Basic Operation
Using the Timer Programming Feature
1. Press the MENU button.
2. Press the ❷ buttons to select Programme and then
press the ❿ or OK button.
3. Press the ❷ buttons to select "Standard Timer" and then press the
button.
4. Press the ❷ button to select scheduled Record List, and then press the
button.

5. Set timer recording option.
• The Timer Recording screen is displayed. Fill the input items using the arrow buttons.
➛❿ : Moves to the previous/next item,
❷ : Sets a value.
• TO : Select the media to record DVD or VCR.
• PR : The video input source (AV1 or AV2), or the broadcasting channel you want to
make a timer recording from.
• Day : Set the recording day.
• Start/End Time : Start and End time of the timer recording.
• Recording Speed
• VPS : Video Programme System
• PDC : Programme Delivery Control
6. Press the OK button
7. Turn the power off to finish the timer recording.
Timer programming will not work when the power is on.

Finalising a Disc
After you record titles onto a DVD-RW/DVD-R disc with your DVD Recorder-VCR, it

2. Press the ❷ buttons to select Disc Manager, and
then press the ❿ or OK button.

• The disc is finalised.
Once a disc is finalised, you cannot delete entries from the record list.
• After being finalised, the DVD-R operates in the same manner as a regular DVD-
Video.
• Depending on the kind of disc, the displayed screen may be slightly different.
• Finalising will be taken few minutes. If you turn the unit on/off or open the tray dur-
ing finalising, you will not be able to use the disc anymore.
