Connecting to the External Input/Outputs

"EXT 1 (RGB)" is used for the equipment with an RGB
output, such as video game devices or video disc players.

◆ "MONITOR OUT (or EXT 1 (RGB))" is used for the audio/video output of current television
programme.

This end can be fitted with:
◆ A SCART connector
◆ Three RCA connectors (Video + Audio-L and R)

If you have a second VCR and wish to copy cassettes tape, connect the source VCR to
"AV 2 INPUT (VCR) (or EXT 2 (AV))" and the target VCR to "MONITOR OUT (or EXT 1
(RGB))" so that you can redirect the signal from "AV 2 INPUT (VCR) (or EXT 2 (AV))" to
"MONITOR OUT (or EXT 1 (RGB))".

If you have a decoder, connect the decoder to the VCR and the VCR to the television.

When you wish to record a programme, connect the receiver to "AV 2 INPUT (VCR) (or EXT 2
(AV))" and the VCR to "MONITOR OUT (or EXT 1 (RGB))" so that you can redirect the signal
from "AV 2 INPUT (VCR) (or EXT 2 (AV))" to "MONITOR OUT (or EXT 1 (RGB))".
