Navigation
You can use the Samsung mobile navigator
to show your position and navigate a way.
This feature is available only if supported by
your service provider. For details, see the
quick start guide of the mobile navigator.
In Standby mode, press [Menu] →
Applications → Navigation.
Landmarks
With Landmarks, you can save your current
location or manually enter new locations.
1. In Standby mode, press [Menu] → Tools
→ Landmarks.
2. Press <Options> → New landmark →
Select from map or Enter manually.
You can also use Current position to
find your current position.
To add your current location automatically,
your device must have an active
connection.

3. Scroll to a location on the map and
press the Confirm key (if necessary).
4. Enter details about the landmark.
5. When you are finished entering landmark
information, press <Done>.
Smart reader
Smart reader allows you to take a photo of a
name card and extract contact information
from the card, and save it as a new contact
in Contacts.
• Hold the device firmly while taking the
name card.
• Be careful not to let any shadows on
the name card.
• Place the name card on level, evenly lit
place and photograph it.
• Depending on the shooting
environment, the result of the name
card conversion may not be satisfying.
