    Your New Washer-Dryer This new machine, which is fitted with the New Jet System, meets all modern requirements for effective treatment of laundry with low water, energy and detergent consumption. The special wool programme with its new delicate wash system treats your woollens with extreme care. The balance control device ensures that the machine remains stable when spinning.

    The following speeds are available for the different fabrics. • Cotton, linen: 700/900/1200 max 1400 r.p.m. (ZWD 1480 W) or max 1600 r.p.m. (ZWD 1680 W) • Synthetics and wool: 700 max 900 r.p.m. • Delicates: 700 r.p.m.
  • Page 7 3 “Prewash” button With this option the machine performs a prewash cycle at 30°C max. The prewash cycle ends with a short spin at 650 r.p.m. in programmes for Cottons and Synthetics, and with emptying of the water for Delicates. This option is not available with the wool programme.

    11 Programme phase indicator lights When you select a programme, the lights relevant to the phases that form the programme light up. After have started the programme, only the light relevant to the phase that is currently being carried out will remain lit.

    Operating Sequence WASHING Before the first wash we recommend that you run a cotton cycle at 60°C, without any laundry in the machine to remove any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub. Pour 1/2 a measure of detergent into the main wash compartment of the dispenser drawer and start up the machine.

    7. Select the “Delay Start” Before you start the programme, if you wish the starting to be delayed, press the “Delay Start” button repeatedly, or keep it pressed, to select the desired delay. The selected delay time value (up to 24 hours) will appear on the display for 3 seconds, then the duration of the programme will appear again.

    Unpacking All transit bolts and packing must be removed before using the appliance. You are advised to keep all the packaging for re-use in case the machine is to be transported again. Using a spanner unscrew and remove the two rear bottom screws.

    Water inlet Connect the hose supplied with the machine to a tap with a 3/4” thread. Do not use already employed hoses. Installation should comply with local water authority and building regulations’ requirements. The appliance must be connected to a cold water supply.
