ASUS router Hard Factory Reset
To reset your router to the factory default settings, you can long press the Reset button on your
router. However, in some cases, you may not successfully reset the router to the default status by
using the Reset button. ASUS recommends that you try the Hard Factory Reset. This method
may not cause any side effect so you don't have to worry. Actually we highly recommend you
use Hard Factory Reset.
Hard Factory Reset method varies a little bit from different models. Every method is similar to
each other but slightly different. We list all the methods - model mapping table as below:

1. Check whether your computer has a wireless network adapter:

1-1. Windows logo key keyboard shortcuts in Windows. Press "Windows logo key
key", and then open the Run dialog box, Key in devmgmt.msc, and then open the Device
Manager.

1-2. Expand Network adapters.

1-3. Look for a network adapter that might have wireless in the name.
2. Check whether your wireless adapter can search for the wireless SSID nearby.
Select the Network or Wireless icon in the notification area.
