Basic Operations of remote
Tuner f eat ures
• 4 / ¢ (TUNE) buttons
Press the 4 button to make decreasing seeks (using the
preset tuning mode).
Press the ¢ button to make increasing seeks (using the preset
tuning mode).
Use to move the cursor left or right during station name input.
• AM /FM button
Press the AM button to select the AM band.
Press the FM button to select and sw itch betw een FM 1, FM 2,
and FM 3 bands.
During station name input, selects digits and symbols.
• 38 button
Selects the type of characters at the time of entering the station
name.
• OK button
During station name input, stores the already input data in
memory and ends the input mode.
Casset t e player f eat ures
• 4 / ¢ buttons
Press the 4 button to start play again at the beginning of the
current track.
Press the ¢ button to start play at the beginning of the next
track.
• AM button
Rew inds the tape.
• FM button
Fast forw ards the tape.
• 38 button
Plays the reverse side of the tape. When pressed during fast
forw ard and rew ind, this button stops the tape and starts playing
it.
CD /Ext ernal disc cont rol f eat ures
• 4 / ¢ buttons
Press the 4 button to search through the tracks backw ard.
Press the ¢ button to search through the tracks forw ard.
Use to move the cursor w hile entering disc name.
• DISC buttons (for disc changers)
Press the DISC
button to search through the discs backw ard.

Press the DISC
button to search through the discs forw ard.
Select numbers and symbols w hile entering disc name.
• 38 button
When a disc is playing, this button pauses the play.
Press the same button again to start play again.
Selects the type of characters at the time of entering the disc
name.
• OK button
During disc name input, stores the already input data in memory
and ends the input mode.
