Introduction
Land Pride welcomes you to the growing family of new
product owners. This Bale Spear has been designed with
care and built by skilled workers using quality materials.
Proper assembly, maintenance, and safe operating
practices will help you get years of satisfactory use from
this Bale Spear.
Application
The Land Pride BS30, BSE30, BS40, BSE40, BS50, &
BSE50 Bale Spears have uses and applications in
farming and ranching. They have the capability of quickly
and conveniently turning your skid steer loader or tractor
front mounted loader equipped with a skid steer/loader
hitch or Euro hitch into a Bale Spear for lifting,
transporting, and placing bales.
They are available in three optional spear lengths
(32", 39", or 49") and two hitch styles (BS & BSE). The
BS style is designed to hook-up to skid steer/loader hitch
and BSE style hooks-up to Euro hitch. The lift capacity for
30 and 40 Series frames is rated for 3,000 lbs and 50
Series is rated for 4,000 lbs.
The 30 and 40 Series are 54" wide and are available with
three lower spears for carrying square bales. The 40
Series can also be equipped with one upper 49" spear
and two lower 19" spikes for carrying a round bale, or with
one upper 49" spear and three lower 32" or 39" spears to
alternate between carrying round bales and square
bales.
The 50 Series frame is 66 3/4" wide and is available with
three or four lower spears for carrying square bales. Two
19" accessory spikes can be added to the four lower
spear option for carrying two round bales side by side.
Optional extensions with 19" spikes can be attached to
the sides of all 30, 40, & 50 series frames. They offer
greater stability for carrying two square bales with one
bale stacked above the other.
Whichever model and spear arrangement you select,
you'll find these Land Pride Bale Spears will save you
time and money and make getting that bale handling job
done a whole lot easier.

The parts on your Bale Spear have been specially
designed by Land Pride and should only be replaced with
genuine Land Pride parts. Contact a Land Pride dealer if
customer service or repair parts are required. Your Land
Pride dealer has trained personnel, repair parts, and
equipment needed to service the implement.
Serial Number
For quick reference and prompt service, record model
and serial number on the inside cover page and again on
the warranty page. Always provide model number and
serial number when ordering parts and in all
correspondences with your Land Pride dealer. For
location of your serial number plate, see Figure 1.
