Do NOT add new paper to paper that is already in the Main Tray without first removing and fanning it together with the paper you are loading.

    • When using user-defined, non-standard size paper, remember to select the appropriate paper type in your printer driver. • Heavily printed pages tend to curl and may not stack correctly. They also tend to stain the back of the page stacked over them, since they require longer to dry.

Re-insert the print cartridge into the printer, lock it into position, and close the cover.

However, frequent use requires a number of simple printer-care operations. During normal printer operation, an error condition will be signaled by the rapid flashing of the indicator light.

    Printer Problems Sometimes printer problems are very simple to solve. When you have a problem, make sure that: • The power cord is plugged into the printer and an electrical outlet. • The electrical outlet is not turned off by any switch or breaker.
