voltage of 400/230V.
WARNING: Never operate the pump
without immersing it in water! The
pump operation must not exceed two
hours, to be followed by a 20-minute
shutdown. The total use of the pump in each day-
and-night period must not exceed twelve hours.

Operating instructions
1.
The pump does not require any initial lubrication
and water filling and may be commissioned
immediately after It is immersed in water.
2.
A satisfactory pump operation and its service life
depend considerably upon the correct value of the
electrical mains voltage. When the mains voltage
gets higher than the admissible value, it causes
sharp metallic collisions within the pump's magnetic
system and that results in a premature wear of the
appliance. In case these collisions do occur during
operation of the pump, you must turn off the power
and make sure to bring the mains voltage down to
normal.
3.
During the pump operation, avoid increasing
the water discharge head by pinching the hose
or by fitting to the hose any adapters having a
flow rate lesser than the rated pumping capacity
of the appliance; if the pump is operating with
a discharge head higher than rated value , this
increases pressure on the rubber parts and this, in
turn , results in collisions within the pump system. If
it happens, make sure the discharge head is reduced
immediately.
4.
When operating the pump you need to watch
the quality of the transferred water: in case muddy
water is discharged, switch the pump off and check
Its position in relation to the well/pit bottom; if the
transferred water contains any sand or fine stones,
this will result In erosion of the pump housing flow
part.
WARNING: The pump rubber parts are
made of water-resistant material and
shall be corroded if the water contains
any oil product impurities

Storage after use

The machine's exterior surfaces should be cleaned
with a soft brush and cloth. Do not use solvents or
pol ishing compounds. All dirt shall be removed.
Frost can cause damage to the device
that has not been fully drained. The
device should be stored in a frost-free
environ ment.

Troubleshooting

CAUTION:
switch the device off and unplug the
cable.
Water discharge decreased
pump's humming suddenly increased
piston is worn out
pump's humming is normal
worn-out
The pump would not turn on
power supply protection trips
short circuit In the electrical drive coils
If the problem cannot be remedied on the basis
of the information above, please contact an
autorized IVT center.
Manteinance and storage
Before carrying out any maintenance operation,
turn off the electric power supply by disconnecting
the plug from the extension cable.
Always keep the machine and the ventilation
slots cleaned. If the machine should fail despite the
rigorous manufacturing and testing procedures, the
repair should be carried out by an authorized IVT
customer service.
Regular cleaning and maintenance of the
appliance will ensure efficiency and prolong the life
of your appliance.
Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws tight, to be sure
the appliance is in safe working condition.
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
Store the appliance in a dry room out of reach of
kids and away from any flammable material.
Inspect the device on a regular basis in order to
de tect any visible damage, e.g., loose connections,
and worn or faulty parts.
