Select the serial interface to be connected in the [Connect using] box, as shown in
Figure 5-2. Please note that the selected serial interface should be consistent with the
actual serial interface connected by the console cable.

2) Set the serial interface parameters. As shown in Figure 5-3, in the properties
dialog box of the serial interface, set the baud rate to 9600, data bit to 8, no parity
check, stop bit to 1, and flow control to none. Then, click <OK> to return to the
HyperTerminal window.
