    Understanding Washer Cycles When the Cycle Control knob is set to a number and pulled out, the washer fills (to the selected load size/water level) before agitation and timing start. The washer begins agitating immediately after filling; agitation occurs with the washer lid up or down.

    Starting Your Washer Fire Hazard Never place items in the washer that are dampened with gasoline or other flammable fluids. No washer can completely remove oil. Do not dry anything that has ever had any type of oil on it (including cooking oils). Doing so can result in death, explosion, or fire.

To select different wash time and temperature combinations: First select the water temperature (HOT, WARM or COLD) then turn to the new wash time. For example, for 14 minutes of wash time in the Normal cycle with Cold water: 1.

    Water Inlet Hoses Replace inlet hoses after five years of use to reduce the risk of hose failure. Periodically inspect and replace inlet hoses if bulges, kinks, cuts, wear or leaks are found. When replacing your inlet hoses, mark the date of replacement on the label with a permanent marker.
