SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS/WARNING

This recess kit is to only be used with the AeraMax Professional AM II Air Purifier. It is not intended for use with any other unit.
WARNING: Follow the instructions in this manual to reduce the risk of electric shock, short circuit, and/or fire:
• WARNING: To avoid the risk of electrocution, confirm the electrical supply has been disconnected or switched off before beginning any work.
Confirm no electrical wiring, utility pipes, duct work, or any other obstruction is located directly behind the installation/drilling area.
• Deviation from the assembly instructions may result in a risk of fire or electric shock.
• Please read manual in its entirety before attempting an installation.
• Save manual for future use.
• Once installed as a recessed unit. This same unit cannot be converted back to wall mounted or stand unit.
• Use this kit only in the manner intended by the manufacturer. If you have questions, contact the manufacturer.
• Use only the electrical power (voltage and frequency) specified for the model air purifier being installed. Verify voltage with sticker on
electrical cover on unit.
• Do not use if internal power cords are damaged.
• Do not handle/install with wet hands.
• Before servicing or cleaning the air purifier, switch power off at service panel. Lock service panel, or affix a warning tag, to prevent power
from being switched back on accidentally.
• Do not obstruct air inlet or air outlet of the air purifier.
• Equipment (switch), having a contact separation in all poles that provides full disconnection under overvoltage category III conditions, must
be incorporated in the fixed wiring in accordance with applicable wiring rules.
• Unit utilizing this recess kit must be installed by a professional technical support or customer service.
• All permanent wiring must be installed per local wiring rules.

INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
BEFORE STARTING, TURN OFF POWER AT MAIN CIRCUIT PANEL!
IMPORTANT: When the AM II Air Purifier is hardwired, the power switch on the machine no longer operates. Equipment (switch), having
a contact separation in all poles that provides full disconnection under overvoltage category III conditions, must be incorporated in the
fixed wiring in accordance with applicable wiring rules.

The recess pan contains a cutout for a 12.7mm trade
size conduit connection.

Cut Out
Hole
Following your local electrical codes, provide
an electrical supply to the conduit cutout of
the recess pan. This will connect with the main
unit in later steps.

studs and cut a hole following the outline on
the template.
