Problem Encountered
The machine does not switch on.

After use, the pods have holes only on
the upper fi lm.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Possible Causes
» The machine is not connected to the electric
network.
» The appliance is full of limescale.
» No water in the tank.
» The tank has been fi lled without priming the
water circuit.
» Used pod drawer full.
» Pod inserted incorrectly.
» The indicator light was off when the
coff ee brew switch was pressed.
» Pod already used.
» The loading lever was not set to the brewing
position.
» Clogged dispensing spout.
» The water circuit is empty.

Solution
» Connect the machine to the electric network.
» Contact the authorized service centre.
» Descale the appliance.
» Refi ll with fresh drinking water.
» Prime the water circuit (see Section "Circuit Priming").
» Empty out the used pod drawer.
» Repeat the sequence, lever in the off position, lever in the
brewing position; if that is not enough, intervene manu-
ally to remove the pod from the duct after unplugging
the machine.
» Wait until the indicator light turns on.
» Place the lever back in the off position and insert a new
pod.
» Set the loading lever to the brewing position.
» Carry out the dispensing spout wash cycle (see MAINTE-
NANCE AND CLEANING).
» Prime the water circuit (see Section "Circuit Priming").
» Prime the water circuit (see Section "Circuit Priming").
