Single phase motors
The single phase motors are protected
against temperature and current overload
by means of thermal cutout devices in the
winding. The motor protection is reset au­
tomatically on elapse of the time required
for the electric motor to cool down. See
"quick troubleshooting guide".
Three phase motors
In the case of three phase motors, the
user is responsible for installing protec­
tion.
The electrical protection must be suitably
sized to ensure protection against over­
loads and short circuits.
Electrical connection
Electrical connections should be made
according to the diagram provided on the
inside of the terminal board cover (see
Figure 4)

OPERATION

Pump priming
The pump must only be started
up after it is filled with liquid.
If the pump has not been used
for a prolonged period, the filling
operation should be repeated before star­
