Bacon Lardons
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 5-10 minutes
Setting: Sauté
Serves: 2-3
Ingredients:
2 tsp olive oil
100g bacon lardons
Ciabatta Croutons
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Setting: Sauté
Serves: 2-3
Ingredients:
50g piece Ciabatta loaf, cut
into 15mm cubes
25g butter
15 ml olive oil

Method:

Add the oil to the Jug and press the Sauté Button.

After 1 minute, add the bacon lardons and stir with a wooden
spoon or spatula until coated with oil.

Arrange in a single layer on the bottom of the Jug and cook
until crisp and brown, turning occasionally.

Turn off the Sauté Function by pressing the Sauté Button.
Method:

Add the oil and butter to the Jug and press the Sauté Button.

After 1 minute, add the cubed ciabatta and stir with a wooden
spoon or spatula until coated.

Arrange in a single layer on the bottom of the Jug and cook for
a few minutes.

When crisp and browned, stir and repeat to crisp the other
sides of the cubes then turn off the Sauté Function by pressing
the Sauté Button.

Drain on kitchen paper and serve as a garnish for soup.
