Dieses Heizgerät einschliesslich Zubehör wurde
in Übereinstimmung mit den EU – Richtlinien für
Niederspannung (73/23/EWG und 93/68/EWG)
und elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit
(89/336/EWG und 92/31/EWG) entwickelt und
gefertigt.
MONTAGE
Für waagerechte Montage und festen Anschluss.
Das Gerät darf nicht unterhalb einer Steckdose
montiert werden. Helle PVC-Bodenbeläge und
Lacke von Parkettböden können durch Einwirkung
von Temperaturen über 35 °C verfärbt werden. In
diesem Fall ist ein Mindestabstand von 120 mm zu
empfehlen.

Wandgestell
befestigen. Dabei Mindest-
abstände beachten! H-förmiges Wandgestell
dient als Bohrschablone.
2.
Elektrischen Anschluss vornehmen. Heizgerät
dazu auf die unteren Haken des Wandgestells
stellen. Stecker in die Wandanschlussdose
einstecken.
Achtung! Der Stecker muss voll eingeschoben
werden (Klicklaut hörbar). Die Leitung wird mit
dem Kunststoffclip auf dem Wandgestell
befestigt.
Gerät hochklappen. Sicherungsband
Geräterückwand einhängen und Gerät in die
oberen Befestigungshaken einhängen.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION AND
OPERATION
This product and its accessories fulfil the
requirements of the EU's low voltage directive
(73/23/EEC and 93/68/EEC) and the directive
concerning electromagnetic compatibility
(89/336/EEC and 92/31/EEC).
INSTALLATION
The heater should be mounted horizontally.
The heater should not be mounted directly below an
electric outlet.
Some light vinyl floor coverings and varnished
parquet floors may become discoloured with the
long-term effect of temperatures above 35

TEMPERATURSTEUERUNG
Das Heizgerät hat eine eingebaute Temperatur-
absenk-Funktion, die von einer zentralen Schaltuhr
über einen separaten Steuerleiter angesteuert
werden kann (siehe Schaltbild).
Hierzu muss die volle Netzspannung zwischen
Steuerleiter und Klemme N(L) in der Anschlussdose
anliegen.
Die Raumtemperatur wird dann um bis zu 5°C im
Verhältnis zur eingestellten Temperatur abgesenkt.

SCHUTZ VOR ÜBERHITZUNG
Das Gerät hat einen eingebauten Überhitzungs-
schutz, der den Stromkreis unterbricht, sobald das
Gerät zu heiss wird. Dies geschieht durch abdecken
der Heizung mit z.B. Kleider. Falls der Über-

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

The heater has a built-in function for temperature
reduction when comfort temperature is not required.
This is controlled by means of a timer placed in the
fuse terminal box (see diagram). When the pilot wire
is connected, the full mains voltage can be
measured between the pilot- and the N(L) cable.
The room temperature will then be reduced to about
5 ºC below comfort level. The lamp
green light when temperature reduction is activated.
SAFETY DEVICE
The heater has a built-in safety device which dis-
connects the power if, for example, the heater is

GERÄT NICHT ABDECKEN!
Falls die Luftzirkulation durch das Gerät behindert
wird, entsteht ein Wärmestau. Deshalb Kleider nicht
direkt auf oder in unmittelbarer Nähe des Gerätes
trocknen! Staubansammlungen in den Luftein- und -
austrittsöffnungen mindestens einmal pro Jahr mit
Staubsauger entfernen. Um an die Rückseite des
Gerätes zu gelangen, kann dieser von den oberen
Befestigungshaken gelöst und nach vorne gedreht
werden.
Das nebenstehende Symbol bedeutet:
"Nicht abdecken".
NETZLEITUNG ist eine Spezialleitung. Bei
Austausch muss eine neue bei SIEMENS bestellt
werden und diese wird vom Elektriker
ausgetauscht.

Re-connection of the safety device is done by
pressing the button located in the middle of the rear
side of the heater.
DO NOT COVER THE HEATER
If the air flow through the heater is obstructed, the
heater will overheat, and a safety device will cut the
power. Therefore, do not dry clothes, etc., on or
close to the heater! Dust and nap can eventually
block the openings in the underside of the heater.
To avoid this, vacuum the underside at least once a
year. To ease cleaning of the heater's backplate,
dismount the heater from the wall bracket.
Please observe that the following
symbol means "Do not cover".
The MAINS LEAD is especially produced by
SIEMENS. In the event of damage, a replacement
should be ordered from SIEMENS and installed by a
qualified electrician.
